 Visas & Embassies
 On most overland entries points you can get a visa upon arrival (1000 thai Bath or 20 US$). Only no visas are available at the Strung Treng bordercrossing. See the the bordercrossing page. When you want to obtain a Cambodian visum abroad. Tales of asia gives a list of all Cambodian Embassies abroad. Another possibility is the check out the pages of the ministry of tourism that has a page with the Cambodian embassies and consulates abroad also one with the foreign Embassies in Cambodia.

 Arriving by air
 Visitors arriving by air can obtain a visa for stays of up to 30 days on arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, Phnom Penh or Siem Reap International Airport.

When you leave the country by air keep in mind the airport tax is 25 US $ for international departures. For domestic flights it is 6 US $ (January 2004 info).

 Borders & Bordercrossing
 We have used the Strung Treng, Poipet and Kho Kong bordercrossings to enter or leave Cambodia. Just a straight forward procedure.  Domestic and regional flights
 No information can be found on the net regarding the airports in Cambodia.
Only information on international and regional carriers that fly on Phnom Penh and Siem Riep is available. The information is listed below.

Traveling by train

  Cambodia has a limited number of train lines. However information on how to travel by train is hard to find. There is information on the "Northern Line" from Phnom Penh to Battambang. The "Southern Line" from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville is not covered.

  Tales of Asia a good starting point to get linked through to information regarding Cambodia. The sites focuses on Cambodia but also contains sections on China, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam. Especially the Cambodian F.A.Q and Travel overland section (between Thailand - and Cambodia) are a good source of information for the traveller.
  Another site with extensive information are Andy Brouwer's Cambodia Tales. For us as travellers the travelogues are interesting but also the Message board and links are worthwhile.
 Dutch site by and for travellers, the Cambodian section of Reis om de wereld gives news, travelogues and links related to the country.

 Tales of Asia and has information on all Cambodian provinces.
