- In this section you can find the travelogues of our bicycle adventures at the end of 2002.
- Because we started to cycle from two directions 2 different routes can be distinguished:
- Kees, Jeroen and Marcel started cycling in Vientiane (Laos), heading South for Cambodia (roughly along the Mekong river). In Cambodia they headed for Siem Reap and ended their adventure in Aranyaprathet (Thailand) / Poipet (Cambodia).
- Liesbeth and Eric started in Buriram Thailand, entering Cambodia at Poipet. They met the others in Siem Reap and went (together Kees) to Phnom Penh and the further South until Sihanoukville. They crossed the border with Thailand at Kho Khong/Hat Lek pulling the brakes for the last time in Sa Kaeo (near Aranyaprathet) in Thailand.
The travelogues of Laos and Cambodia describe the adventures of Jeroen, Marcel and Kees, while Thailand is the entry for the experiences of Eric and Liesbeth.
